Introduction to Methodoku

Episode 31 will feature Mark Davies, author of Methodoku Mayhem. If you have not tried solving methodoku before, I recommend you try some before listening to his episode. Here are three to start with, in order of increasing difficulty:

Methodoku A1

Standard Rules: Fill in the grid. Every row must contain all six bells. A bell can move a maximum of one place left or right between rows (no “jump” changes). The completed grid is a lead of a rung method.

Methodoku A2

This methodoku has one additional rule to accompany the standard rules: no long places. (A bell cannot stay in the same place for more than two consecutive rows.)

Methodoku A3

This methodoku has three additional rules to accompany the standard rules: no long places, palindromic symmetry, and five-lead plain course.
